Track Review: Out in the Dust by 3 A.M Again

Damn I needed this today. Makes you feel like you're floating down a river on a bed of marshmallows whilst melting into a pool of loveliness.

It's a rainy Sunday in Manchester and I'm skipping through bandcamp to try and find something to lighten my mood.

After hunting for some jangle-pop delights, I stumbled across the opening track from 3 A.M. Agan's latest release, Cherry Street. From the opening bass lick luring you in, I was hooked. The effortless guitar lines and crossing vocals create a dreamy atmosphere that is in absolutely no rush to end. This is one of those songs that would sit perfectly on the end credits of your favourite indie film, during that bit when the camera pulls back above the sleepy town and everything's gonna be ok. It's very much a track you want to curl up and live in for a little while and let the world carry on without you.

If this opener is anything to go by, you're sure to fall in love with the rest of Cherry Tree. There's also a recently released Extended Edition which I'm about to sink my teeth into. Can't wait.

Grab this release from BandCamp and support artists where you can!
